Hey guys,
Just been getting some stuff cleared up since getting into the mobile game field.
I've learned quite a lot and have finally learned the development process of apps (specifically games).
I can't really seem to figure out the process of marketing and promoting the apps themselves.
So far I've learned about some communities online for indie gamers.
Social media has always been a bit confusing and messy, but I'm learning more about how to use it to market apps. Like many apps/games find their success through Twitter tweets that go mini viral for a few days, shooting the app/game's ranking up in the top charts.
Besides those ways, I'm still oblivious to the marketing and promoting part (might also be the most important) of the app business.
How do you guys promote your apps/games around the net?
What are ways to get your apps/games in the spotlight so that user's can find them?
