OK, so I have invented a few things now. I really do not have the funds to patent them. I have tried several times and just to do a patent search costs 5,000 dollars... Then they need to be confiscated for their time which is an extra 2,000 dollars... Then they going through the patent process and everything it ends up being around 15,000 dollars to patent something.
I do believe in my ideas because I am an everyday person and when I had a pain I invented something for the problem.
Everyone I showed the prototypes to like them as well but of coarse they are going to say that to their friend.
So, I am not really sure if they are worth patenting, or just present them to companies and not worry about the patent. I mean come on, EVERYONE HAS THE BEST IDEA AND IS SO SCARED ITS GOING TO GET STOLEN which maybe it will but in most cases it's not really a good idea and no one cares.
I think I have a good ideas. I am just not sure what to do and really don't think its a good idea to take out a loan to patent one of my inventions.
What do you think I should do?
