Hello all, I joined this forum a while back and just browsed and never contributed because I felt I couldn't. I read the Millionaire Fastlane and could not be more excited. I have some questions that are keeping me from full starting. (By the way I tend to overthink things, so that's a big part also). My questions are more with business names. I have two different things in mind that I want to start. I want to open a website for a specific niche I will sell in. Also, I have some t-shirt ideas that I want to produce. This is where my confusion starts.
Do i have to open a business name for each startup ?
Shouldn't the domain name's match each other to "strengthen" my brand name ?
What if my brand of item that I am selling have nothing to do with the t-shirt I made, doesn't that look bad ? If I had a website such "artsupplies.com", and my tshirts had to do with pictures of dogs, wouldn't I need a domain name to cater to the t-shirt business ? If I have all these different domain names, then how am I solidifying myself as my "brand". (which I assume would be my LLC name).
I'm not really looking for someone to tell me how to do it all, I'm just confused on how I actually "start" it, basically where to start. I might also want to start a new niche in the future.
