Hello everyone, just wanted to introduce myself.
My name is Jeff and I am originally from the Kansas City, MO area (GO CHEIFS!) and I currently live in Guatemala and Belize. I was a slave to the JOB for many years and have experienced many failures along the way, all the way to losing everything in 2010 and having to start over. In 2018, my wife and I decided to quit the JOBs, leave the rat race and go after a dream I had since I was 14 years old, helping those suffering from extreme poverty. It is a long story on how we got here, however, we are living very fulfilled lives, running a nonprofit in Guatemala helping those in dire need. I love to build things and now that our nonprofit is built and growing, it is time for my next chapter of building, by investing in those that we serve. Living here for more than 5 years now and seeing growth in the economy and infrastructure, I believe there are great opportunities here for a steal! I have already started a business in beef, and we are in the process of starting a cement block factory. I love being able to invest money with those that have great ideas but are stopped because of lack of resources and seeing their lives changed while helping my retirement/residual income at the same time!
If the projections go as planned with the current businesses and our nonprofit, our non-profit will be fully self-supported through discounted medical centers, we should be able to retire permanently to Belize (fishing and scuba diving everyday baby!), and I will have plenty of resources to continue to invest in great business ideas that create jobs and improves lives all throughout Central America and beyond.
My personal vision and passion (besides my nonprofit) is to create sustainable impact by investing in and empowering entrepreneurs in developing countries. I’m passionate about fostering growth, creating jobs, and nurturing local talent, especially for those who face limited opportunities. Through strategic partnerships, I aim to uplift communities and help build resilient, thriving economies.
I am very excited about this new chapter and look forward to growing it with all of you.
