I've always been one of these "shiny" chasers as at the end of the day it was covering up my lack of confidence in myself and really not knowing the proper steps. Six years ago (and like many people) I started selling on Amazon and did well. I still do well as I've had many successful products however, it's a violation of the commandment of Entry and Control. TMF was the first book I ever read that basically reiterated my thoughts while in undergrad and taking my MBA.
Nothing excites me because I feel the majority of it is a waste of time. What hit home to me in TMF was that what we are going for is freedom, family, and fitness and that is what excites me!
That is my fuel and that is my yearning desire to gain that life. My wife and I are putting our plan together which yes involves the business as our foundation but also to ensure we correctly meet all the commandments.
I look forward to learning lots from everyone here and I'm thankful to be a part of these discussions.
