I've heard every sale is the same, maybe in concept and framework. But lets face it no matter how many books you read, how much roleplaying you do, etc.
Heres where I need your feedback. I have been into social engineering since 2013, which is a branch of hacking concerning human psychology and communication science.
and for some reason I cannot sell my way out of a wet paper bag, but I can use SE fairly well.
In social interactions I feel like improv, and relationship building (rapport)/bonding play a large role in this, however a lot of things I see is b2b sales, and it IS NOT the same. Where, and how do I develop practical experience selling to people? I already have a product, I signed as an independent sales rep for merchant services, I already know who my customers are, and who my competitors are. I'm not on about things that are usually covered in market research, and SWOT analysis.
A lot of people have started to phase out phone calls when it comes to the same old "canned material/sales scripts".
