I have been running a small side business for over 10 years earning between a couple hundreds of $$$ per month to a couple of thousands of $$$. My main job is in information technology, but it is a job and it is not getting me where I want to be. I always treated my business as a side business - which I think was the biggest mistake I made when looking back at missed opportunities.
It has been a nice business ride over the years. I build a small network of information websites and made money from advertising. Like many others, my websites lost the Google love over the last 12 months and I am down to like $150/profit per month. I have been trying a lot of things lately, but trying does not mean succeeding.
So, I am at a point where I am re-inventing myself (my business) again. I have done this a few times over the years and always came out on top. The I stumbled across the fastlane and here I am.
Over the years I published a couple of books and I have started doing so again - but mainly on Amazon Kindle. I am also working on a membership website - related to the last 2 books. I am tackling a certain job/work related niche. It is evergreen and I think there is a lot of opportunity to offer online training and also expand into actual coaching as well as to offer additional services and products.
I still have to read the book, but are very excited about being here and reading what others are doing.
