First let me tell you that I didn't want to start this until I've been a few months into starting an e-commerce store. I've been dabbling in this for years with no success. I'd rather take action and get feedback on what I've been doing wrong so that I can get it right.
I've learned a lot from this forum, more than I've learned in the past 5 years of trying other online businesses. I've tried affiliate marketing, MLM, and Network marketing to name a few. I've tried building websites to drop shipping and even spent a few thousand to try other peoples systems and non of them worked.
I'm currently a marketing major now at the University of Colorado in Denver and my life couldn't be more boring. I got out of the military and going to school to further my education. At a young age I knew this wasn't the route to success. I've read, listened to, and watched numerous books on how to get rich, work from home, and all the like these gurus offer. However, one of them kicked me in the butt (I think you know which one it was).
What I've been looking for all this time is what I shouldn't have been looking for. I've been looking for a step-by-step guide instead of a methodical approach to concurring everything in my life. I no longer search for the steps to do things but instead do those things and learn the steps it takes to succeed.
I hear people asking the same questions on these forums but let me tell you, the answers couldn't have smacked you in the face harder than a 2x4. For all of our sakes, please read and research before you ask the obvious, please!
Anyways, if you're not a member, this forum is worth it's weight in gold. I'll be adding my two cents to this forum because it's given me a dollar. It's all about taking action and that is what I'm trying to do.
I'm doing to to take action and hold myself accountable. I have plans and I will update you on my goals. I'm fairly new to this so bare in mind my ignorance. Please keep me updated on your progress also. Here is some motivation. I got my first sample orders in!
