Hello there.
My name is Erik and I'm a 16 year old student from Bavaria, Germany (which might explain spelling errors. I apologize for that).
I have been "Interested" in Entrepreneurship and that thought of liberty since the summer of 2015 - fast forward to autumn of 2017, a ton of action-faking an the attempt to start an affiliate marketing business (the motivation behind it was to learn PPC and Reverse Engineer successful campaigns), which got supported surprisingly well by my parents but crushed by the local court (You have to apply to something called "family court" here if you want to found under the age of 18), i came across the recommendation of TMF , which i ordered and read in two sittings. I was just sucked in.
The book really opened my eyes to identify the bullshit of the conventional wisdom and non-functional financial advice, which was reinforced a few days ago by reading UNSCRIPTED . There was a time in late 2017 where i was really proud of my action-faking-achievments, because i thought i did good by uncovering all those truths (and practices aswell as habits from several personal development sources) in my youths instead of my thirties.
However, this proudness started to shift. I'm starting to get trapped in this downward spiral of self-destructive emotions and doubts in myself and my abilities. Seeing all those success stories from people i looked up to a year ago, all actually being fraudsters, scammers or fakers (think YouTube gurus), aswell as the truths spoken in both of MJ's books completely shifting my mindset and reality away from society really left me in a place where i don't know what to do but also not wanting to ask for help because i want to provide value, not take time or positivity from people. I believe a broken diet from a binge and me taking a break from lifting because of an injury, aswell as the general spring sadness all contribute to this, but it's still not the best place to be inside.
I''m not saying i want anybody on here to take me by the hand or show me things - entrepreneurship is not like that and i know that i will have to figure thinks out by myself. I know that this is the only way of life for me and I'm deeply committed. The last time i did something besides business and fitness was back in september i believe. However, i'm looking forward to learn a lot from the threads in this forum, and maybe spark up some conversations. I have a lot to learn, especially behavior wise, but i'm generally here to contribute, not to take.
Reading about the FTE in UNSCRIPTED really made me think if i had something like it before, and i really hoped i do because it would mean that i can start as soon as i turn 18. However, i wanted to make sure the "FTE-Pain" was bad enough, and so i turned to minimalism and got rid of every video game and every item in my room that isn't necessary for living or business. This should also give me a boost in my capital for starting and strengthen my focus.
My plans for the near future are as follows:
Thank you all for building this amazing community and all these valuable threads. I think without the books and this forum i would have tapped into some "MMO"-scam.
Love, Erik.

My plans for the near future are as follows:
- Learning e-Commerce and Amazon FBA as a foundation - I know this violates control and entry, but i don't expect profit but learning general business practices and everything involved with e-Commerce.
- Taking some stupid Application-Course i have to go through because i failed german high school (it's different here than in the States, no worries. I'm actually not some ungraduated school dropout).
- Getting a job at a very close local bio-supermarket (Whole Foods, but it's not, and it's a way smaller chain), where i can maybe gain some industry insights and find a business opportunity (Like MJ did in the limousine industry back in the day).
- Reading a ton of business Books (generally action-faking, but i can't think of a better thing to do as long as i can't start a business).
- Creating a Military-Bootcamp at Home to improve my Discipline, Productivity and Fitness.
Thank you all for building this amazing community and all these valuable threads. I think without the books and this forum i would have tapped into some "MMO"-scam.
Love, Erik.
