I could not secure an internship in the finance/investment industry this year so I am applying to sales positions in my city.
Most of them promise 750$+ a week which I guess includes commissions. Most of them are in industries such as cars, insurance, recruitment and business sales.
The primary reason I am applying is to gain sales experience for any future business I own and the secondary reason is to make money to fund such a business.

The only sales position I had was in retail fashion sales which I guess says that I am somewhat personable.
Any advice on what is the best way to get into the high ticket sales field and perfect the craft. I have applied to a firm which does business sales and another which does insurance sales.
I told them about my past experience setting up a content site which received over half a million visits in its 3 years while I was a high school student. Hopefully that shows them my drive and self starter attitude.
