Hey cool that you read this,
First I want to give you a very short impression of who writes the letters you read right now. My name is Wayan. I live in Germany, turned 19 years old last Wednesday and I am finishing school right now.
In my free time I normally go to the gym, take some boxing lessons, hang out with friends or read some books. Two of these books have been TMF and Unscripted (very obvious to be honest).
After a month or so looking for problemes to solve and brainstorming every day I got a decent list of problemes which could be solved or could be solved better.
I sorted the most of them out and the list became smaller and smaller. At the the end only 2 or 3 ideas remained. I really fell in love with one of the ideas and chose the one which seems to deliever the most value in my opinion. I also checked if it makes cents and yes it does! Every area of cents works for my idea.
When I say it makes cents, that also means that the commandment of entry is fulfiled by my idea. The idea is a platform in a niche of a big market. This means that I have to learn code or get the money to pay someone developing it for me which means finding investors.
Luckily the universe gave me a great opportunity which means that I dont have to do this alone. In Germany exists a non profit organisation founded by 2 very succesful and very young entrepreneurs. There you can get a business mentorship for free if you are under 20 and still in school. After some weeks of writing with them, the universe blessed me with a great guy who got experience in entrepreneurship. Right now he works as a management consultant. He is still very young and I just love this guy. He taught me the same as MJ in Unscripted . First I should get a soft proof!
I already builded a landingpage where you can already subscribe to our newsletter for updates and future discounts. But to be honest I am not really happy with the first landing page wright now and will also update it before the soft proof. He told me the best way in his opinion is to take about 500€ and create ads for Instagram and Facebook. After that we can check how many people clicked on it and how many subscribed the newsletter (a soft proof).
I also got a friend who is a very good developer but who doesnt want to build the website for me (understandable in my opinion). But I think when I can show him some proof of my idea and offer him something, it could be possible that he helps me and I can avoid investors, but thats some stuff I can still think about when the moment comes.
The next steps right now are earning 500€, optimizing the landing page and then publishing the ads.
So my main focus right now is to earn 500€. I know this sounds easy but for me right now it really isnt. I work in a job where I earn 380€ and can`t do more besides school right now. My parents are also not rich but thats not an excuse. I have invested a bunch of money for a sitehustle and hope that it will pay off in the next weeks and month. I already tried things like flipping stuff, going to flea markets etc. But to be honest this doesnt work for me. See it as a excuse I don`t care. I am willing to do nearly everything to get the money because I am so f*cking convinced that this is a idea with potential who can add so much value to this market and I just want to see If I am wright or not. I am willing to learn from the market and ready to learn.
