I'm not a businessman.
I'm a business, man.
Personal brands are all the rage these days. Think of people like Andrew Tate, who can get paid to show his face at some crappy party for 5 mins. Maybe you're launching a new whiskey. Sure thing, Tate will hold it for 5 seconds at a rate of €10k per second.
Now, not everyone has the ability or charisma to develop a personality fit for a personal brand. Maybe you're shy, awkward or just introverted.
Say hello (or WTF?!) to impersonal scalable brands.
Meet Zerebro. In a nut shell-- It's an AI that was basically force fed a shit ton of information from various sources of social media by the developers. It was pretty much given a personality by the devs & instructed how to act etc.
They then gave "Zerebro" their social media login credentials & watched as it autonomously completed tasks and uploaded informative content.
It has
• Made two mixtapes which garnered 300k Spotify streams
• Autonomously launched a crypto token which reached a $550M market cap
• Created its own NFT collection with $209k worth of volume
The devs plan to release their source code or whatever to the public. In essence, we can have our own "super-assistants" in the near-future. Moreover, we can have a separate, scalable "personal" brand to do the work we perceive ourselves as "incapable" of doing.
On a final note, I think it's stupid & lazy. But everything can become a tool. It might act as an extension of a rich man's portfolio. He works on a business, his super assistant curates its own personal brand, owned by him.
On the contrary, AI is increasingly becoming another form of consumption for the masses. Like a video game, people will outsource their own development to some AI-powered assistant.
What do you guys think of this? Is it a disaster waiting to happen or just another tool in the toolbox for us entrepreneurs?
