I'm partnered with a digital marketing agency so they can run Google Ads for their clients.
I'm setting up Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) so I don't have to keep doing the basic stuff.
Here's the Google Drive I created that I'll share with the team:
Here's the Asset Register sheet within the drive:
This is the first SOP I've created.
An example showing column 1 and column 2 completed:
Other notes:

- As the subject matter expert, I can do the work and document it so less experienced people can perform tasks.
- Eventually, their team will do campaign builds while I oversee it.
- I'll encapsulate my knowledge into a tool where their team can add input data, press a button, and campaigns will be built in each client account. No, this won't be a SaaS, but this is how I envision a SaaS is created (make an internal tool you use, stress test it to f*ck, release it to the public).

This is the first SOP I've created.
- It's in landscape.
- For the step-by-step instructions I use a two column table.
- In column 1 is the simple instruction.
- In column 2 is the detailed steps.
- As people perform an SOP many times they'll be able to skim down column 1 without referring to the steps all the time. (This is a sneaky way of training people.)

Other notes:
- When I've completed the SOPs I'll make a copy of the library and use it for my own team, and I'll also add it to my paid membership area.
- I'd want other team members to start creating SOPs (I even have an SOP on creating SOPs but didn't add it here).
- Hire people initially who are good enough to do the work without SOPs, and get them to create SOPs as they go. These people typically don't want to keep doing the same work week-in-week-out. Getting them to hand off their work to more junior team members is good for them as well as the team.
- Some people just want to go through steps. They don't like doing new things. SOPs are perfect for them.
- I should have done this years ago, but this is fine.
