Greetings fellow Entrepreneurs,
I am putting the finishing touches on an Ebook and now I am researching the best way to distribute it. I was thinking of doing most of my marketing via Youtube and directing traffic back to my website. My plan was to sell my ebook on my own because it contains affiliate links that are appropriate to the books topic. Not sure how I would do that if I sold it on Amazon. First time at this type of venture.
My question is for people who have done this before. What would be the best platform to sell a "how to" ebook? I figured I would do it myself and keep all the cash plus have my affiliate links in the PDF and make additional money that way. What other options would you suggest?
Next question is about my website. Last time I experimented with this I had a blog. This time I think I want to send traffic to a single Sales page with BUY IT NOW buttons and a clear call to action.
I don't want potential customers surfing my blog and getting distracted. Is this a mistake? Would it be beneficial to post additional content on the site? Maybe have the sales page a part of the blog? I'm torn on this because I would like to continue with similar books and build a brand. But I want a clear call to action at my page - BUY!
My youtube vids would be small pieces of the book. Free tips, teasers, ETC.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I wish everyone much success in 2014 and beyond!
