I haven’t seen many posts in here about the service industry. Seems like there’s a lot of ideas floating around about products and not much about the service industry. I would love to chat with someone who has some experience running a service based business rather than a product. Products are easy to think about, easy to brainstorm, but hard to see through. Service is just hard.
If there’s anyone out there, how are you handling new hires?
Where do you get most of your work from? (Google my business?, referrals? Suppliers? Facebook? Other?)
What’s your next year look like?
What’s your biggest challenge?
What’s your biggest asset? Is it a piece of equipment? A person? Location?
I have many challenges ahead right now. New people being priority 1. How do you set up good training?
Priority 2 for me is equipment. When do you purchase vs rent? Is it worth it to buy brand new equipment when you can rent it and incorporate it into your costs?
