After months of reading, learning and soul searching you guys have inspired me to take the leap and launch my own service managment company. A little history i have about 15 years of experience working in this particular service based industry that deals mainly with insurance and code enforcement for businesses (B2B) in my state. Most of my thoughts are to design a service that acts alot like a Property management company except manage the various trades and services and simplify the paperwork, billing and record keeping so customers are better served.
I'm unsure of what my first step should be. Which is where i could use your advice.
Do I set up a website and try to drive traffic to my service with Adwords?
Do i just cold call hundreds of customers until i build a customer base?
Im trying to build a process here, but feel like im getting bogged down in unimportant details and "busy" work.
At this point all i feel like i can do is A/B test diffent marketing both online and off and feel my way through this process
Any input guidance, words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated !
