Hello dear fastlaners,
I wrote a product(Informational health book) which I intend to sell and expand (Make a DVD course, several expansions and also cut it up in several parts so people can buy parts of it)
So I want to establish an internet site where I can establish my brand with a webstore as a selling point.
With possible expansion to 3th party platforms such as amazon etc.
Since of my normal day to day job, I'm in a very unique situation as I am:
- Not registered as "living" in any country around the world (I do have a passport of my birth country, however I am not registered as living in the country.)
- Legitimatly don't have to pay taxes over the income of my normal job (working on a cruise ship)
- travelling for 10 months a year, so no sollid living place, or country where I can be. as I'm pretty much every day in a different country.
Now I cannot find out the following things:
- Where I'm allowed to register my business (It looks like every country has different rules, and even a different database on businesses that are registered. I fail to find an "international governing body" for this)
- How/to whom to pay the business taxes too. seeing that I'm not registered to any country in the world.
- Do I have to pay taxes over the income that I give myself, seeing that I'm not registered to any country in the world.
- Where I'm able to get a bank account for the business. (I'm able to have a personal account in the country I was born in, and a crew account for non-business use in the US as far as I know.)
- There is a business with the same name registered in my birthcountry, but it's not registered in the US, or as a trademark. can I still use it?
