So for the past 4 months or so I've spent most of my time learning how to code as well as building my own app. It's picked up a solid foundation and I know what I want/aiming for. But now, the progress is slowing down and my motivation is slowly dying.
At first, I used to spend minimal time doing rather big changes to my app. When you first start learning how to code, things are pretty straight forward. If you wanted to do something, you look it up and implement it into your app how you want it. It was simple.
Now though, at a later stage, things get slightly more advanced and difficult. There's not always one answer to what you want to implement like when you first start out. The right method is not always clear and creates so much uncertainty in what you're doing. You could spend days trying to do something and it might not even be what you want in the end and need it changing all over again.
I feel like unless I hire someone with a lot more experience than me, I can't move forward how quickly I want to. What I could do in 2-3 months at this stage could be done better in 2-3 weeks or so by a developer. I feel the only answer to moving forward effectively is by hiring a developer.
The problem is I don't have any sort of cash to go hiring a developer. So my plan would be to leave the app to one side for now and go and make some cash.
How would I do this? eBay and Amazon. I've used eBay for years and made reasonable amount of money of it, more so now than ever. Although, I've never put time and effort into it. I've been selling products i've been familiar with, in this case clothing. My plan would be to branch out and little and sell imports from China and then open up on Amazon too. Hopefully, I can make a decent enough money to live of as well as hire a developer and finish my app along side selling on eBay/Amazon.
Sound good? The more I write the more I feel confident this is the right approach
