Hello All
I have been lurking for a few months and decided it was time to brake out of my box. I have found this site very informative. There are alot of great posts that we can learn from. I have read all the RDPD series, but became disillusioned. I am still somewhat dissillusioned and trying to decifer what is just touchy feely v.s. what can help me to take action and get onto the fastlane. I know that I am sick and tired of the rat race and need out to enjoy life and spend more time with my family.
I find this site to be a sort of retreat when none of my friends have a clue nor desire to get out of their slowlane mindset. I can come here and read posts that talk of those things that I want, but can't discuss with friends nor most of my family. My wife is supportive, but is not sure how to help.
:blah2: Anyway, I hope I can learn more you all and that I might be able to provide some positive input as well.
I am from Arizona and am looking at going to the Beer & Pancakes 2010 - thought that might help me get some direction and push me into the (action) pool.
