If I were to create a brand/business and of course used the brand/business name as my domain name...

and someone was obviously using a very similar domain name (after I had already made my brand/business) for the purpose of leeching some of my search traffic (slight misspells, etc)...

or if they even used my brand/business name right in their domain name for that purpose...

Could I do anything to protect myself/brand/business? Could that be illegal?
