Hi All,
Brand new to the site, but been lurking for a while - great input here, so thought I should join and contribute.
Been doing what I thought was a business I could potentially grow to a decent size for a few years now - Photography. That was my thoughts anyway before I read MFL. I thought, hey work hard, be the best in town, have great customer focus and I could become one of those 7-800K/year studios. Well the book made me see that this was slow lane. I believe with the hard work I could get that large studio - However, there most likely would be at least 5 employees, overheads, expenses etc and I would be dog tired in what would become "just another job", for a potential salary in the $2-300K range. Not bad money, but the work 2, for 5 days off line in the book really changed my view, as did the rest of the book. So, here goes it - full speed ahead.
I just need to find the right venture this time - or, if I go by the statistics of failure, within the next 8-10 tries anyway
