I stumbled across TMF a few years back whilst looking for something to read. I skimmed the blurb and thought, I'm not an entrepreneur, not for me.
Fast forward to Jan 2025, TMF suggested on my spotify..... annual leave, time to spare, I started listening during a gym session and finished within the week. Kicking my younger self for passing the first time.
I'm a full-blown slow lane subscriber. I've digested countless investing books and podcasts. I've consistently invested in index funds and have an investment property. Despite solid returns in 2024, I looked at my portfolio and thought... is that it? ... Fair to say the timing and first chapters of TMF hit me HARD!
I capitalized on a less competitive jobs market in 2022 and pivoted careers. I'm fortunate in that I now enjoy what I do, yet despite this, I want more.
Since reading TMF, I'm trying to alter my mindset... searching for solutions and opportunities within my industry & beyond.
I hope to share ideas with the forum to learn, capitalize and grow! Never been much of a forum contributor so let's see how it goes.
