Reading this book (I'm still midway through the book; just came straight to this forum as he mentioned it in his book!) just confirmed my inner most beliefs that there just HAS TO BE MORE TO LIFE THAN LIVING A CONFORMIST LIFE!
I live in a culture where there is immense need and pressure to conform. It is worse for girls though. Reading this book has given me a lot of affirmation and encouragement to pursue what I always felt to be true in my heart.
Learning to disagree with my family and still being able to remain loyal, loving, unjudgmental, supportive, and honest - towards myself and them - is a real challenge for me. But it is what I am having to work with in reality.
Reading the book has given me a lot of hope and clarity. I'm doubly excited with joining this forum!
Back in those days when I was preparing to leave a coveted job in the corporate world, I got a lot of help and feedback from BarbaraSher's forum. As I take my next steps to become fully responsible for my financial reality, I have found this forum.
I hope lots of great new opportunities, leads, blessings & grace touch all of our lives today and tomorrow.
