Sproutgigs is stupid!!!!!

Sproutgigs. When I hear or see that name, I want to punch my ear to deafness and pluck out my eyes.

Sproutgigs is a micro-task site that pays people to do micro jobs.

But sproutgigs is very terrible. The control is pathetic. They suspend people's account every single day. Not a day goes bye and I don't hear someone's account suspended for a flimsy reason. And worse you can't get it back.

You might negotiate with the customer service and get it back, but the odds are slim. Most people never get their account back.

I even once worked for them.

How can this company get away with such madness? Simple.

Easy execution. Any idiot can set up an account and start performing a task and start getting paid. Once you see money accumulating in your dashboard, you are motivated to work more.

And you spend years working for a company that treats you like shit.

Execution scares most people. If I was to start a blog or a YouTube channel, before I earn my first dollar, I have to execute very well.

And you need to have a knowledge which can be complicated like YouTube SEO and Blogging SEO and growing a social media page to drive traffic to your blog or YouTube channel.

I have warned these people to quit sproutgigs because it's horrible. And worse, they keep joining the next stupid opportunity. And worse, they use it to support their family.

To make it worse, people in developed countries. Do this shit. People in Dubai and USA, what the actual F*ck!!!

There is a WhatsApp group that I'm in that they discuss about how bad it is. It literally disgusts me. I've frozen my WhatsApp and it's frozen until those guys working for it stop being foolish.

I have a sproutgigs account in level 2.1. Yes, just like a job there are different levels and different earning potentials. I hate it so much that I want to sell my account for a fire sale price of $20. I hate them so much that I want to sell it.

Hold up, there's an option to delete my account? How convenient. I'll use that. And I'll have nothing to do with them ever in my life again.

Let's analyze this company according to CENTS in the law of effection

1. Need: It has need. People need you to visit their website and other things.

2. Entry: It is too easy that you don't have to pay money before you join. It's so horrible that a 10 year old can do it, which leads to depressed margins.

The easiest task pays 0.0030 dollars, and you need to work for hours before you can earn a dollar.


3. Control: The control is horrific. People's account are blocked everyday for flimsy reasons and they can't get it back. They impose rules and policies everyday making it difficult for workers.


4. Scale: it can't scale to 2000 dollars a month, not even 1000 dollars a month. The only amount I've seen someone make is $ 100, which makes it pathetic. Although $100 is a good amount in my country, Nigeria. It's a third world country where poverty is serious.

It can't even scale to impact millions. Or hundreds of thousands. Just working for few people everyday. And remember, you can't leverage time. You can't work 24 hours. If you try it, you'll die fast.

I know someone who works 24 hours and makes $5 and he's depressed. You see how pathetic it is?


4. Time: You can make it passive my writing a blog post or social media to do affiliate marketing. But it's a long shot.

Your account can get blocked anytime so it's a waste of time. My mentor taught me how to make money on sproutgigs for free and his account was blocked.

So, if you don't work, you don't earn. Very terrible!!!!.
