Hello,
I had an idea recently on starting a leaflet distribution business for small, local shops and businesses in my area.
I live in a borough of London in UK, and would first start out in this borough. Apart from the London-wide leaflet distributions (the one's who already have the top advert spots in a Google search), there only seem to be a couple businesses doing the same thing in my borough (and they have a small Facebook presence).
As well as distributing the leaflets, I would also offer a service to design and print them too. The plan is to find the cost price of everything (designing, printing and delivering the leaflets, as well the marketing), and approach businesses in their store or call/email, to see if I can offer them a better deal, or to persuade them to start having leaflets to increase their business.
I would guarantee them that there will be no competing leaflets (from similar type businesses) sent out at the same time e.g. no 2 Indian restaurants at the same time.
I would be grateful for any advice going forward, and any tips to help avoid wasting time.
