Hi all,
for a long time I was working in IT (self taught: software tester, test automation, DevOps and a bit of software development).
Most of the time I wanted to improve inefficient processes, things nobody wanted to do/fix or didn't know how to tackle
=> me: learning whatever was needed and tried to fix them.
Last time I have worked for a web3 startup, but due to the last unsuccessful investment round the owner decided to close the business.
I think we were ahead of time and what were we building will be common on web/internet in 10 years.
Then I had 3 main choices:
- considered the offer to operate what we have built
- learn the gaps and get a new web3/IT job
- start my own biz
I have opted for building a business, which is a bit challenging starting from zero while taking care of my family and feeding our mortgage.
I don't want to give too many details at this point, but my biz is related to web/online/IT.
I'm still in preparation phase, I could outsource all the IT stuff, but I like to be in control of the important infrastructure (as in: being able to control it myself, understand how does that work and be able to build/iterate quickly), so I am moving slower at this time, learning a lot, but I'm building solid foundations.
