I've always had a job that gave me a steady paycheck. I started a new business about a month ago that is based on commission and bonuses.
Does anyone have suggestions for finding potential business partners? I put an ad on Craigs List about 2 weeks ago. I had 20 inquiries and all but 2 were not interested because they are looking for a steady 9-5 job. I was able to get 1 guy to join so the ad actually paid for itself, which I'm happy with.
I'm wondering if there are other places where I can advertise and reach the type of people that are not traditional 9-5 workers. The reason I'm asking is because my time can be better managed if I target the people I'm looking for. I was thinking of Linkedin but it's expensive if you post a job there. Once I get the business up and running, I can spend $195 a month, but right now I'm looking for cheaper options.
I'm new to the commission business so I'm pretty much learning as I go. Any ideas or suggestions would be great!
