Hello guys, I just wanted to see you guys had any tips to get me into the fastlane.
In order to land a good job, you need something to catch an employers attention. That starts with a rock-solid, well planned, quality resume. Most people are not able to get their foot in the door because they aren't selling themselves. Whats going to make the employer choose you over hundreds of other applicants; an good resume. Most people apply for jobs and wonder why they never received an call back, it is because they don't differentiate themselves from the other candidates
I stay in the Metro Detroit are and I am currently offering my services as an Resume writer ( you should see the resumes some of my customers show me lol), but I just got a flyer made and my business cards should be ready by Monday, I was also debating on building a website based around this service.
I just started doing it Last week and I have done 6 of them so far charging $30 ( cover letter included). One customer even paid me to fill out apps for her.
My question is do you guys have any ideas to make this into a fastlane opportunity, marketing ideas, and incentives? Any other input would greatly be appreciated.
