If any of you have come across our quest to restore integrity to the Canadian real estate industry with our startup LiveOrList, we now have an opportunity to get the attention of none other than the messiah of all things, Google. At the root, we want to make it easy, and if I do say so myself, enjoyable to search for and post residential real estate with a higher level of efficiency and transparency. The vision aligns with the Google Places API Developer challenge because it aggregates municipal real estate data from dozens of sites, and integrates every one of Google Map's APIs. I pasted the link to the app showcase below, the only stipulation is that you need to vote with Google+ (of course).
The judges, and they are many, are highly accomplished individuals that we will no doubt be getting life altering advice from should we win (a la Fastlane bible). There is a people's choice and a judge's choice, but we will settle for either one :coolgleamA:. If you want to see the opportunities for the winners, check out the prizes...very cool stuff.
We are also about to enter a local pre-accelerator, part of one of the premiere startup incubators in Canada, and the excitement and uncertainty are at an all time high. Building the startup has taught us about the funding game, opened up unbelievable connections, and continues to be a humbling experience.
