Quick background for those who may not be familiar with me:
-22
-Graduated with my BS in mechanical engineering this past May
-Currently unemployed and living at home
-No debt or anything hanging over me
I had stopped looking for ME work in August because I had been sending out resumes across the entire country and not hearing a thing back since I graduated. I decided I would learn basic marketing and start hustling by getting into affiliate marketing (I know I know..), so I could better prepare myself for my real fastlane ventures. I had spent every single day from mid August researching and preparing to dive in, just last week I got everything ready to go to start my first campaign.
Then I get an email, which leads to an interview at a pretty cool company, which leads to be getting an offer of 45k to start with them. Now I could throw away the AM deal and go work for them, and try to work on fastlane on my off time- but the hours are 8:30-6 with 3 hours of commuting daily (unless I move close which I'd probably do) and a solid amount of OT, it doesn't leave me with much. However it would get me the hell out of my father's house, which impedes my ability to think clearly at times and definitely gets in the way of things.
Opinions?
I'm leaning towards taking the job and getting my own place so I can really get the juices flowing, I'm concerned about the lack of time I'll be having to work on my fastlane prospects. Thanks,
Tom
