Going to start taking my e-commerce business more seriously... Currently have a shop of womens watches that are selling only 1 model and I sell around 2-5 day @ $15-20... The reason I haven't had focus on this at all is because I've also been developing a new innovative B2B web app focused on the real estate industry. I'm not going to be leaving that idea behind at all, I already have $10k+ invested in it and have customers who have tried the beta and said they will pay right now. It's just not where I want it to be yet, so I refuse to charge anyone until it's up to my standards.
Personally, I've always tried to 're-invent' the wheel and do something innovative. That's what i'm passionate about. But the idea of having a e-commerce shop, selling 50 items a day @ $20/ea , making $1k/day ... Getting paid for basically waking up and breathing (when you reach that point), sounds really nice. I know it's not going to be easy to get there but, i'm already familiar with the work that needs to be done to get there.
The e-commerce idea: A e-commerce site focused on cool 'fashionable' items that sell for $20/ea , nothing above or below. There is a lot of cool stuff available for import and I'm going to start with the watches, take it more seriously and slowly grow the selection up.
