Test drive troubles. Is there a better way?

Has anyone else had a nightmare trying to arrange a test drive? I've been stood up multiple times after confirming appointments with sellers on Auto Trader (UK based platform for selling and buying cars).

It's incredibly frustrating!

I'm starting to think there's a gap in the market for a platform that can streamline the test drive process. Something where buyers and sellers can securely schedule and confirm appointments, maybe even with features like video walkarounds.

I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues?

Would you use a platform like this?

I'm probably missing something here but if you have confirmed an appointment to view a sellers car and they aren't there when you arrive, how is that down to Autotrader?

Hi,

Autotrader doesn't have a built-in scheduling system. It's all a manual communication between buyer and seller. It’s probably a shitty idea but I'm suggesting a platform dedicated to streamlining this process for both buyers and sellers when it comes to arranging test drives.

Not necessarily Autotrader's fault but there might be tons of buyers struggling to arrange a test drive for a car they like but due to a number of different factors it doesn’t always happen.
