Alright the title is cheesy and there is no "best" method ofc.
I don't want to waste your time so I'll get straight to the point: Flyers.
You can get 1k for as little as 8€ and you can do more specific targeting than any ad algorithm.
This means that you walk around and only throw them into post boxes of potential customers.
Of course, what you save in money you pay in time and inconvenience. But again, here in Germany I can use them without having to register a company, unlike online ads for the most part.
My tips on using them
1. Make sure that you have a "high" ticket item your selling. For me it's window cleaning and home service so even if I only get one customer from 1k flyers I still made profit.
Flyers are not worth it with 10% margins, provided you are throwing them out yourself.
2. Spent some time to make the design be a good ad. Put a special offer on the flyer. Add scarcity and urgency. Put a good cta at the bottom close to the number you want them to call.
3. Go and hand them out yourself. It's a great experience and also good exercise.
If you can, bring a friend so you can talk to someone while doing the work.
Overall I'd reccomed Flyers to anyone who is rather young and broke and inexperienced. If nothing else it's a fun and unique way to get customers in today's age of the internet.
