Thanks for the latest book, they are always very actionable. there was one point that I saw mixed science with opinion, a section in chapter 1 that talks about how following "conventional wisdom" blindly can lead to bad consequences :
"Such “wisdom” like go to college and earn a degree regardless of cost, economics, or employment forecasts, Work hard Monday through Friday, play harder Saturday and Sunday. ... have a few kids, and eat according to the USDA food pyramid. Wear your mask. Live frugally and invest all your saved pennies at Wall Street firms, preferably in a low-cost indexed fund"
while these points are really important to think about critically & not follow blindly but facemasks are scientifically proven to inhibit a virus spread.
I'm very passionate about this because I lost friends to covid who did not believe it was a big deal & were careless about it.
but either way, thanks for the book @MJ DeMarco , I think adding a story helped contextualizing all the advice .
