I work 6-10 hours a day (actual job), 6 or 7 days a week, then have school for about 5 hours five days a week, then go home and work on my own venture for a few hours every day.

I used to blow money on stupidity (example: Bought 4 identical Ipod Touches when they first came out). Now, with working so hard, understanding the value and importance of hanging on to your dollars (and getting them to work for you), I'm finding it progressively harder and harder to spend any money.

As it stands now, once I've covered all of my important expenses (rent, food, transportation.. hurray bus pass, etc) I'm left with about 70% of my net income to save/invest.

Today after work (my 6th, 9hr shift in a row) I decided to 'treat' myself to Subway and a dvd. Subway cost $14 and the dvd cost $5... and it was ridiculously painful spending that money (I regret it... it's been 6 hours hhahahaha), even though just today I made 8-10x that :coco:.

All that to say, that I'm curious as to what you guys do? (question is relevant to all of us who aspire to the fastlane in the present, and to all those that have achieved some version of the fastlane already.. what did you do before you were balling basically.)

I mean, I would think that I still have to live or have some kind of fun (ie the occasional trip to the movies, dinner with friends/family,etc.)

Do yall budget for this? Or are you super frugal? If you budget for it, how much ($$$ or %) of income do you put towards 'fun money'?

Gracias por todos!
