I have been absent for a while but not idle. After a successful move from the west coast to the east coast, I have finally been able to start focusing on my own businesses. Here is where I am at.
Current Project:
I am working on a stand alone iPhone / android app that helps athletes get more accurate times without buying expensive equipment. This is NOT a project that has the potential to launch a full business off of, but it WILL be my first value I have ever added to the world that was not owned by my employer. If anyone is interested, I have abandoned Xamarix and am using Ionic + Angular to create this app. (Can provide links / support if requested).
I am working on this each night up to 3 hours a day. This is really helping me transition out of time killing habits into productive ones. (Gotta learn to crawl before I can walk).
In the meantime:
I have been scoping out SaaS ideas. I was able to meet up with a successful entrepreneur here in Indianapolis and being able to hear his input and how he chased his ideas provided a little clarity for me. I have my "notebook" where I jot down viable ideas as I think of them. Right now I have a total of 3 separate ideas, but I am planning on finding as many as I can during my app development then apply a C.E.N.T.S filter to each one to find my next project. I also plan on sharing my top 3 ideas with the forum for feedback.
That's all I have time for right now. I am still working 8 hours a day for a major bank while trying to add 2 - 3 hours a night into my own businesses. The real focus right now is for me to establish better habits of my time and continue to make improvements to my goals.
