Hey Everyone,
I searched the forum and found that there wasn't one of these, so I figured I would start one. (if there already was one and I happened to miss it, oops)
It is good practice, and many successful businessmen and entrepreneurs say that it is a good idea to have 2-3 mentors and you are much more likely to become successful this way. No matter what level you are at, whether you are just starting, or are already a millionaire.
If you're just starting you might want to find a successful entrepreneur to be your mentor.
If you make 100K a year, try to find a millionaire.
If you're a millionaire try to find a 10 millionaire (If thats a word)
And so on.
So the reason I am starting this thread, is to see if I can't connect some people who are looking for a mentor, with some people who are a little bit more successful, and have more experience. Many mentors often don't ask for much in return.
-BUT-
If you are seeking mentorship, here is usually a good way to convince someone to consider mentoring you:
Offer to do some tedious tasks for them, or offer something of value.
For instance:
You want an internet marketing to mentor you?
Maybe offer to answer his emails, be a virtual assistant for a while, make some calls for him, write some content, do some research etc.
You want a successful real estate investor?
Offer to help them manage, build a website, take pictures, fliers etc. Anything of value
How about a successful startup CEO?
Offer to help them find talent for teams, answer his emails, manage something small etc.
You get the point. These people's time is valuable, so make it more worth their while and at least show that you are willing to work and that they are not wasting their time and they'll do a good job teaching you.
Some of you may find it funny, but actually there are a lot of people that get to the point where they are successful and mentor people under them, but also are striving to be more successful and have mentors above them.
Anyway this thread is for anyone seeking mentorship to ask for it, and anyone offering mentorship to offer it.
***The Rules***
If you are seeking mentorship you have to make a post giving a summary of you/your business/ideas and what you are striving for and what you need. Either describe it all here, or refer to your intro post if it is relevant.
If you are offering mentorship you can post and say if you have taken on anyone, or what you are offering. If you see some interesting posts why not get in touch?
Hopefully this is in the right section because of the "Networking" and hopefully we will be able to hook some people up and create more success.
If this thread horribly fails........... well I mean... I guess there was some halfway decent info here anyway right?
Good luck!
