I have a tendency to overwhelm my brain with soooo many thoughts on sooo many different topics that I cannot focus. Which, in turn, leaves me with little work actually ever getting done. Lets call this the chill pill.
Aside from stepping away (Which I like to call just run away for a little bit) from my computer and hopping on my motorcycle or "running off to the beach", I love to listen to chilled out music. Takes my overexcited active brain down a notch.
The motorcycle is very effective btw... The sound of the wind along with the clear skies and very little traffic, state road routes calm me down quite a bit.
The Beach works wonders for me. I love the bright sun, makes me feel reborn. Ironically, I tend to get A TON more work done if I take my computer with me and sit at the beach club and use their wifi.
Starbucks- HUGE DISTRACTION for me, probably because of all the things going on. Idk why but it just is. MUST have my headphones otherwise forget about any work getting done
As for music, I'd like to share some calming tracks, nice chilled internet radio stations, and some favorite producers I personally like to listen to to help bring me back to par. I personally like more electronic/lounge style of music. Ya know, the type you would hear at a very elegant, modern, and dark (lighting) restaurant. Please feel free to contribute!
