I am an asian.
My salary in my previous job is $285 a month.
My salary now is $2,830 a month.
And no, that was not a typo.
I now earn 10x my previous job.
My sister, who is an accountant, is paid about $900 a month.
And yeah, I am one of those ensalved to a lifestyle servitude.
We made a terrible mistakeof thinking we were already rich. This the first time in my family's history to experience that level of salary. So yeah we thought it was huge and we bought on credit not one but two houses to be paid 25 years each. Though my job can definitely pay for it in full, it would mean about 4 years of enslavement to this job.
Yeah, I know.
I keep hearing Mj's voice, "how bad do you want it?", and man it's crushing.
Last time my job security was endangered, my parents coudn't sleep much. We're relying too much on this job.
Yeah, I can't quit. And of course that is beyond suckage. That doesn't mean I am quitting the dream. But F*ck! Shit!
