Intro: As I near my 16th birthday I have realized that at this stage in my life I don't know a lot of things. But I am completely certain of one thing, I will live my life on my own terms.
Business wise I have no capital and no experience. I like it this way though because it means I'm starting from nothing! I can only go up. I can look back on this thread in a few years, perhaps even longer than that, and smile at my how far I will have come.
Short-Term: I have two areas I think I could start making some good money.
Fiverr: You can outsource Fiverr pretty easily to make some good cash
1) Finish drafting all seven gigs
2) Market/Advertise while or till money starts rolling in
3)Outsource process
Junking: The whole deal here is that I will make flyers offering to take people's junk off their hands for free and then sell that stuff. Could also sell people's stuff for them
1) Get the flyers done
2) Put them up in the two really rich neighborhoods
3) Go look at deals off freecycle and craigslist (free)
4)Combine those three streams of material to sell
5) Dispose of the things that don't sell
Youtube: This is more of a hobby I want to try out than a business I plan to make money in but I'm still going to put it in here because it is time-consuming and has the potential to make money.
Could write a e-book about teen entrepreneurship later on once you have credibility.
Long-Term: I think it is important to keep the big picture in mind. I need enough money to support myself by the time high school ends so I can immediately get away from where I currently live.
1) E-Commerce: Create a product that adds value.
2)Real Estate Investing: Take the money from e-commerce and invest heavily in Real Estate among other investments.
3) Self-Publishing: Take the knowledge you've gotten from the previous two endeavors and write books.
