This forum used to be a community that I loved to come to, but lately my eagerness to post has consistently declined. The authenticity of The Fastlane Forum is slowly fading. In several private chats, half the messages are laughing at some of the bozo's on here and the ridiculous posts that get tossed up (not by newbies, but established bozos). In those chats, you have countless intelligent members that used to post here and now don't.
This thread is a cry for help @MJ DeMarco.
The self-branding on this forum is getting toxic, and with the current trajectory it will likely lead to the collapse of this community.
A number of people have figured out that they can milk the members here, and they're using this forum not as an actual means of community and relationship, but as a marketing tool for personal gain.
I know a guy that got ripped off for 6-figures by a shitty "established member" since he had a good reputation here - and for the time being still does.
I know kids that wasted years "being mentored" by scumbags. One of which ended up being held out of the country against his will.
I have a long list of people that bought shitty courses but didn't say anything because they didn't want any flack from the forum.
...
We pushed @AndrewNC off of here for being a blatant bozo, and the community improved. However, two years later and the clown fiesta is greater than before - only now they blend in better than before.
Countless birdbrains have cracked the formula:
This forum has become a business for many members, and it's sadly exponentiating as others take notice that the community can be leveraged for personal gain.
@MJ DeMarco -- This is a community that a lot of us have loved at one point or another. For a lot of us, this community had a profound impact on our lives and how we came to be where we are today - whether that be financial or the relationships and bonds we formed with members that we met through here. I think it goes without saying that everyone here is extremely appreciative of this forum existing and we tremendously appreciate the work that you've put in as well as your approach to creating this. My only hope is that it continues to thrive and doesn't get tainted by third party individuals seeking out personal gain at the cost of long-term community.

Countless birdbrains have cracked the formula:
- Make a bunch of threads/posts that convey value.
- Build up a reputation/age your account.
- Use that reputation to cash in.
