Hi everyone, I joined this forum a couple months ago because I was watching a YouTube video about the book "The Millionaire Fastlane " I just glanced around for a bit, added the book to my wish list and forgot about it.

That is until a week ago when I started reading the book. Let me just say, this has been the most life changing finance and maybe even "self-help" book that I have ever read. I've always had a hatred towards the way I was expected to live my life, go to school, go to college, get a job, and retire at 70. This book was like a spokesperson for every idea in my head that I couldn't really explain.

I'm about 75% way through the book and I have started a SMMA business. I've already encountered multiple problems along the way but i cant let that stop me if i want to change my life. Being 17 years old the initial plan was to run Facebook ads for clients, unfortunately the ad account got shut down without me even posting anything. (I guess the commandment of control is true huh?) I now am going to spend the next couple of days researching email marketing, SEO, and web design as I believe these are all things you can under 18.

If anyone has any advice or resources they recommend checking out let me know i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi, Zaparile, welcome to the forum!

It's great that you are already trying to take action, and not giving up after your first roadblock!

Try not to get stuck in the learning and researching phase for too long and continue taking action as soon as you can, this is very important as you can get sucked in to the research and learning loop in which you feel like you are not ready yet and need to continue learning and researching.

Once you have done your research for a couple of days about those things you wrote about and got some basic knowledge, try to either find someone you can help for free using those skills or try to launch your own project and use those skills for this project. At this point your goal would be to get good at those skills.

As soon as you are sure that you can deliver a result, go out there and start looking for clients or maybe even start doing this after you get your first experience with those skills so that when you are actually ready and able to deliver guaranteed results, you would already have a list of people that you can call and potentially transform into your clients.

Good luck on your journey!
