What is a web agency?
Usually provide demanded skills to business owners like:
Webdesign, copywriting, software programming, e-commerece websites, Social network marketing, SEO, advertising, lead generation, sales videos/animated videos, all kind of design, infographics, app development etc
Why this thread?
Well, it seems like starting a web agency was the gold rush a couple years back, now they are more a commodity, new platforms let the business owner have a lot of option to choose from (even DIY), and for those who are providing the service above have a lot of competition.
..But still some agencies prosper, and if you have, what are:
- Your biggest learning along the way
- The people, books, courses that pointed you in the right direction
- The different things you would do if you started all over again
- The part you would recommend outsource/not outsource
- The most effective way getting clients?
- The ways making it support a fastlane lifestyle (without selling the business?)
- Do you have employees, if yes/no why ?
I do not know if this is the right forum, but I just had to call you out if your out there,
I am sure you can help a lot of us who are in the trenches.
