I don't know if it's because I only recently made the decision to become a multi millionaire in this lifetime, or if its because I now rarely spend my time watching youtube videos (I like to watch videos about millionaires while I eat now hehe) but if you would've shown me this video and its comments before then I'd probably ask you what's so interesting about it.
The Millionaire Fastlane alone has shifted my mind in such a powerful direction that I no longer think that any of the comments, which by the way really hit me, are anything close to normal. I literally spent 5 minutes scrolling down, and thinking in my head, "Why in the F*ck are people so pessimistic and hateful?"
Then it dawned on me... It took me almost 2 months to get out of the very mindset that about 99% of these people have in the comments, including the host in the video, Cenk. Everyone loves to be a victim because it's easy. I understand his argument about the 17 year old millionaire having a wealthy family and angel investors, but come on, this Cenk guy is jealous that a young man took action and acquired wealth? I think the only person in the video that has their head on straight is Anna, the other host.
Go ahead, watch the video, or at the very least read like 5-10 comments and you'll see why there really is no competition. And that's the point I'm trying to get at. I'm assuming that most of the commenters are from Generation X or the Millennial Generation. These people are very reason why the remaining 1% who DECIDE to be wealthy, are. I have no sympathy for people who have terrible jobs, for they chose that path. It was easier to get there and therefore the reward is proportional to their applied effort. Maybe I have a little bit of empathy, because I have experienced society's doctrine of becoming a product and entertainment consumerist, plus I've picked it up from my family and friends since the day I learned to speak.
What I've learned is that you shouldn't view the process or achievement of wealth as something that is unorthodox, but rather make it your normal.
