Hello
I started to care about my money about a month ago. In highschool I was earning about 300$ spending a couple hours by my pc. All of it I used to spend on... cigarettes. I realised that I can't live like that. I quit, started to smoke e-cigarretes (healthier and cheaper, as I just love smoke coming out of my mouth, I can't give up this pleasure). Then I went to college, where I was earning 100$ per month working everyday to have something on entertainment (cinema, parties etc.), the rest of it was funded by my parents. But I said to myself F*ck THIS LIFE. I wanted money. But I wanted money coming to me laying on couch. It took another 2 years to realize, that this is not going to happen. I started to read a blog about money. How to save it, how to treat it and how to organise it. This blog recommended some books to read and fastlane was the 1st one I've chosen. Great choice. With reading it, I felt like MJ said everything that my sould was trying to shout it out loudly.
Since then I read 3 books and Kiyosaki's book was one of them.
But, what is my problem? I've made some progress, I know it. I found a job, I started to care. I've saved about 380$ so far from my job (and paid 30% of my debt to my friend). I invested 180$ and try to make it 360$ (bought cheap stuff and want to sell it for more as I know market in my country is not full of it). In next month maybe I invest 360 to make it 720, then 720 to make it 1440 just to be know that I can invest. But I find it hard anyway to stay motivated and focused. There are so many temptations... I dreamt about a good F*cki*g phone, as everybody around me have some galaxy s5, xperia z or other high quality smartphones. It's just hard to quit sidewalk, but I know that I won't come back to this kind of life.
But the question is, have you had the same problems? How did you win with sidewalk temptations? What to do, to stay focused so much as it was a day after reading fastlane?
