The question is: What do you rather want?
You have some goals set and know your life vision?
Great!
Now, it's time for us to move towards our dream life
step by step, but this won't be a self help cuddle way.
Here goes the deal:
If you have your goals and you have your steps figured out,
you will have situations where you wait for something to happen.
Example:
You want to start a web business, have a good idea,
but you can't set up a website.
You know you will make money if the whole website is set-up and you start marketing it.
But you think to yourself, this will take time. Bullshit!
In this moment you make a huge mistake that will take you loooots of time:
You have goals, but you put obstacles in front of them all because of your thinking. You start dreaming your first million.
You're focusing rather on the problems before your goals than the goals you really want.
Instead of saying 'F*ck that, I'll work at McDonald's RIGHT NOW to be able to finance my website ASAP via outsourcing" you say "I think I can finish my website in 6 month if I save some money or learn everything by myself etc."
Let's say you want a Porsche in 6 month. The first one thinks of "I don't care if I have to work at McDonald's right now, because I want my goal and it won't matter how I got there, but HOW FAST."
The first one focuses on the goals rather than the way to get there. He is aware that the goal will make you happy and the way to get there doesn't matter.
The only thing that matters is the time it took you to get there.
The second one has the same goal, but focuses on the problems before the goal and has points where you wait and wait and wait. He focuses on the problems before the goal. He feels comfortable dreaming his first million and telling it to friends that he will be a millionaire one day, but has to wait because of xyz.
He believes that it matters how you got the Porsche, how you bought your house for mom and dad, how you made your first million.
Ask yourself: What do you rather do? Do you focus on the goals and don't have any time to loose, or do you dream of your goals and bullshit yourself into a thinking where it matters how you got there?
Doing the second will cost you massive time in your life and after 10 years you will think to yourself that you've lied to yourself. Not to mention how important this mentality is for the case if your business idea fails. The winner's are able to move on fast cause they know the game of focusing on your goals without losing time instead of waiting and dreaming.
Do you know the Forbes list with the richest people in the world? All those billionaires?
Do we look at this list and want to be like them because of the way how they got there or because they are billionaires and because of that fact we look up Wikipedia and try to figure out how they got there?
Goals and a life mission will take sacrifices, the faster you want something, the faster you want to build a successful business the more of those sacrifices you will take, that's the rule of the game to get you rich, there's no way around it.
Focus on your goal no matter how you get there (it doesn't matter if you worked at McDonald's for a year to finance your website if your website makes you 2m revenue per year and is a good business).
Always ask yourself:
Do I focus right now 100% on my goals / life mission or do I dream them and put big problems before all those goals so I feel comfortable waiting, planing and telling myself "See, I need to wait because x, I need to plan because y, I can't do it right now because z."
If the second one happens you are kidding yourself.
And losing LOTS of time.
