It is clear that Need, barriers to entry, control, scale, and time separation are important, however it's easy for entrepreneurs to get caught up in the confusion of trying to satisfy all.
I find it is easiest to do it this way, and was curious to hear some opinions on the strategy.
Before you start any business, ensure it can satisfy CENTS but you should focus most on NEED. Launch your product and determine the need. Once you fine tune your product to meet the market place need better than current solutions, put your energy into learning how to automate, scale, and finally how to separate your time from the business.
In my business, I was overwhelmed by trying to satisfy CENTS, so much so that my business was stalling. However when I realized I have to focus on the NEED and cut everything else out, I started to see progress. As long as we as entrepreneurs can first focus 100% on how to solve the need, we can then shift our focus on how to automate relentlessly, scale the business, and separate our time.
