So, I recently found out my friend's uncle owns one of the largest chess e-commerce stores in the world. In fact, if you search "chess sets" in Google, his site comes up first.
My friend tells me they make anywhere from 40k-60k in any given week, so I sent his uncle an e-mail and set up a lunch meeting.
Problem is, I'm not quite sure what I should be asking him. I've wanted to set up an e-commerce store in the past, and now looks like a great time to get some awesome information. I know a few topics I could bring up (marketing/seo, how he gets his supply from china, basics of setting up an e-commerce store), but it feels like I could get a lot more out of this meeting if I had some more targeted questions to ask.
So for those of you who run e-commerce stores, if you had the opportunity to ask a six-figure-per-month store owner a few pointed questions, what would you ask?
