Let me start by saying that I have been a Van Wilder of Toilet U, I've been enrolled for a while, but the curiculum was mostly sports and automotive which meant either reading the sports section of the paper or a car magazine.
Just yesterday I decided to choose a major- FASTLANING and have already enrolled in some courses. For curiculum I have chosen 4 Hour Work Week, RD's "Before You Quit Your Job" and will soon start studying the classical work of Ryan Allis' "Zero to a Million". Supplementing these courses are the audio versions of "Awaken The Giant Within" and "Giant Steps".
Additional material I have chosen is PC World and Entrepreneur magazines.
What I'm trying to figure out is how to effectively incorporate these into my daily activities, but most importantly, how to apply this knowledge to my "master's thesis"(fastlane plan(s)) which includes consulting the works of Russ's "Your Plan" thread(printed out of course) and some of the other legendary mindset threads?
As it is now my slated schedule is-
M-F
6:10-6:30am: drive to train station- have time to listen to some audio material in the car, have to take mental notes.
6:33-7:20am: train ride to work- can do either reading or listening while taking down notes which can also include application through observations made whether it's other train riders or what I see on the outside.
12:00pm-1:00pm- Lunch break, 20 mins for eating(can probably listen to some material in this time or network w/ co-workers) and then 40 mins of reading/note-taking
4:57-5:34pm- train back home- see 2nd time slot
5:34-6:00pm- drive home- see 1st time slot
6:00pm-11:00pm- free-time, well time that can be filled with intermittent trips to the Toilet U campus for additional study, but is mostly time for physical activity(starting marathon weight-loss/light training for next yr and off-season baseball workouts) or relaxing with my fiance all the while keeping an active mind towards additions/revisions to the fastlane plan.
Sa
???- usually household chores or leisure activities
Su
12-4pm- weekly luncheon w/ in-laws discussing fastlane plans and eating mother in-law's awesome cooking!
Any suggestions or comments towards maximizing my future degree from Toilet U as well as a fast-tracking the graduation process, even though I know that Toilet U has no graduation date, there's always new courses to enroll in :yourock:
