Twitter directories and useful tools

Being new to Twitter, I wanted to see if there were any sites that were set up like a Twitter directory. A place where you can find people related to your niche or interests. So I did a search for "twitter directory" and found Twellow.com. It seems they have a pretty good format and was wondering if there were any other sites like this? Twitter's search function is very basic, sites like these can be very helpful if you "tweet" and want to find other people interested in your market.

step by step for building a huge twitter following...

1. Twitter allows you to add up to 2000 following before it requires you to have close to 2000 followers

2. Once you reach about 1800 following it switches to 10% difference between the two. So 2000 followers means you can follow 2200.

3. Add 2000 people immediately.

4. Once or twice a day go to Your Twitter Karma and unfollow all those that don't follow you. It's pretty simple to figure out, but if you need help ask.

5. Go back and follow new people and do the process again.

6. You will see a spike in people following you when you first do this each time.

7. Go to www.twitterholic.com to see all the major players. Go there to see who is following them and find your new followers there. Add about the first 50 or so on each. That way you are getting the fresh ones.

8. Follow the top 50 or so twitterholics each time you do new follows, there are other people out there doing the same thing and they'll follow you on their own.

9. Some guys like @guykawasaki is a good place to find new people.
